Creative Careers Forum private beta · last updated 18 July 2026

1. What Creative Careers Forum is

Creative Careers Forum is a marketplace connecting students and graduates with real, paid tasks set by employers, and providing universities with anonymised skills data. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. The platform is currently a private beta: features may change, and payment processing is simulated until our payment provider goes live — no money moves through the platform yet.

2. Students and graduates

  • You must be a current student or graduate of a higher-education institution and verify this at registration.
  • Test answers must be your own work. Papers are unique per student; sharing questions or answers is a breach of these terms and can lead to score resets or account removal.
  • Sharing your study details, scores and task history with employers (under a pseudonym until you accept a task offer) is a condition of using the marketplace. Sharing your name with your university is optional and controlled from your profile.
  • Submitting work for a task is a commitment to the deadline you accepted. Repeated no-shows may limit your access to future tasks.

3. Employers

  • Employer accounts are verified manually before candidate data becomes visible.
  • Every submitting student on a completed task must be paid the task's stated amount — there is no unpaid work on Creative Careers Forum.
  • You must rate every submission (0–100) before completing a task. Ratings determine each student's badge grade (Distinction above 70, Merit above 60, Pass above 50) and feed their skill record, so rate honestly and on the work alone.
  • Candidate data may be used only to select and work with candidates on Creative Careers Forum — not for marketing, resale, or building external databases.

4. Work, payment and intellectual property

  • Employers pay Creative Careers Forum; Creative Careers Forum pays every completing student, less the platform fee shown on the task.
  • Ownership of submitted work transfers to the employer once the student has been paid for it. Until payment, the work remains the student's.
  • Students may reference completed tasks in portfolios and CVs unless the task was marked confidential by the employer.

5. Badges and scores

Badges and skill scores are generated by Creative Careers Forum from test results and employer ratings. They are a good-faith signal, not a qualification or guarantee of competence. During the beta the scoring model is still being validated and may be recalibrated; where a recalibration changes stored scores we will say so.

6. Disputes

If a student and employer disagree about whether work met the brief, either side can raise it with Creative Careers Forum and we will review the brief, the submission and the communication on the platform. Our decision on payment and badges is final within the platform. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

7. Account removal

You can delete your account and data at any time from your profile (students) or by contacting us (employers and universities). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, misuse candidate data, or attempt to manipulate scores.
